Fortunately, the game Minecraft was created far from Adolf Hitler, but by Swedish programmer Markus Persson, also known as Notch. It is not known if this is true or not, but the author himself claims that the game was written in just 1 week. At the first glance at the graphics it is hard to argue with this fact, which can’t be said about the gameplay, which can be safely called brilliant.

Game plot

Unfortunately, to call what is happening in the game story does not turn the tongue. And there is no need, because, in fact, the game Minecraft is a huge sandbox, limited only by your imagination. The game has several modes, one of the most interesting of which is “Survivor” (Survival). This is what we will talk about next.

The Minecraft game starts with the appearance in a random part of a new world. You can be thrown into the forest, desert, on an island, etc. The main task is to survive, and for this you need to urgently find a tree and get wood. In 10 minutes the day will end and night will come, and then it will be really fun. After getting wood, you will be able to make a workbench – the main tool for creating items. After that you need to build your first dwelling and live through the first – the most memorable night. During the night you will be attacked by hostile mobs. If you have built your dwelling correctly, they will not be able to eat your meat. While the creatures will be breaking through the door or walls, you will be able to do crafting (creating the necessary items) with peace of mind. When morning comes, you can continue your exploration of the Minecraft world. You are free to do whatever your heart desires: create futuristic buildings, build cities, villages, country houses, villas, inconceivable sculptures, from the sight of which the most famous art-sculptors will walk on a small boil – the scope for action is almost unlimited.

The world of Minecraft is incredibly huge. There are rumors that in order to go from the center to the edge will have to spend a whole month of the game. The whole world is divided into different territories (biomes). There are 9 main types of territories in Minecraft: forest, seasonal forest, swamp, jungle, savannah, taiga, desert, plain, tundra and the most interesting – the lower world, also known as hell.To get to hell in Minecraft will have to create a special portal. It is there, in the depths of the lower world, you will find the main boss in the game – a giant dragon, which can and must be defeated. After that, the credits follow.

In fact, the boss-dragon is just a small pleasant addition to the essence of the game, because Minecraft is not just a sandbox, it is a huge world that belongs only to you, a world whose storyline you have to weave yourself.

Minecraft graphics

Terrible. How can it attract people? The first Quake was cooler!!! What’s Quake, Mario was better! This is a short list of emotions that arise at the first sight of the game Minecraft. Fortunately, only at first sight! After the first five minutes of the game you begin not only to get used to, but also to appreciate such graphics. The thing is that the whole world of the game consists of 16*16 pixels cubes. And, thanks to this, you can do everything! Create your own world that belongs only to you. Will you say that such a world will be ugly? Well, when you played Lego as a kid, you weren’t embarrassed by cubism, were you? It’s exactly the same here. At the same time, “square” Minecraft mobs: pigs, cows, evil – all this looks very interesting and, I repeat, after a few minutes you take them for granted.

A special word should be said for the diversity. Nine different biomes, presented in the game, give the player unlimited scope for creativity. A special word in terms of graphics should be said for custom modifications, for example, the so-called Minecraft paradise. With the help of such modifications, the world of the game changes dramatically, offering the player absolutely unique and fascinating locations. “Cubic” graphics also has another advantage – small size. Thanks to the relatively small size of the game itself, you can play Minecraft online directly from the browser, without even downloading the game client. And this, you’ll agree, is cool.

The game’s graphics are both the weakest and one of the strongest aspects of the product. On the one hand, cubism brings us back to the dashing computer nineties, and on the other hand, it gives tools for unlimited creativity of users.
